Website Migration, Security Cleanup & Elementor Rebuild
Big Durst Getränke Bosse was delivered as part of a project outsourced to me by a German-based digital agency. The website had been built using WPBakery Page Builder and was experiencing ongoing security vulnerabilities, including repeated hacking incidents that affected the site’s stability, performance, and overall reliability.
To address these issues, I carried out a comprehensive server cleanup, removing malicious code, resolving security concerns, and strengthening the website’s technical foundation. This process ensured the website was operating in a clean and secure environment while reducing the risk of future compromises. Particular attention was given to preserving existing functionality and minimizing disruption throughout the remediation process.
As part of the project, I fully migrated the website from WPBakery Page Builder to Elementor, providing a more modern, flexible, and maintainable framework for future growth. The migration involved rebuilding layouts, replicating existing functionality, and optimizing the website for improved performance and usability. Through a combination of security enhancements, technical cleanup, and platform modernization, I delivered a more secure, stable, and user-friendly website that aligns with current WordPress best practices.
