Bid Helpdesk was delivered as part of a collaboration with a Sydney-based digital marketing agency. My role was to enhance and optimize an existing WordPress website, ensuring it aligned with the client’s requirements while maintaining consistency with their established brand and online presence.
The project involved refining a website originally built by another developer, implementing technical improvements, and optimizing key functionality. This included configuring essential plugins, improving SEO settings, establishing reliable email delivery through MailPoet and SMTP integration, and developing a dedicated blog section with an organized grid layout to improve content accessibility and user engagement. Particular attention was given to responsiveness, ensuring a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
To further strengthen the website, I carried out a comprehensive cleanup focused on performance, security, and maintainability. The project concluded with a successful migration to a new hosting environment, ensuring all systems operated smoothly following the transition. Through a combination of technical optimization, SEO improvements, and user experience enhancements, I helped transform the website into a more polished, reliable, and professional digital platform.
