Bid Helpdesk – Website Migration and SEO

For the Bid Helpdesk project, I was brought in to enhance and optimize a WordPress website initially built by another developer. My role involved ensuring the website was set up correctly, matching the look and feel of the client’s previous site while providing necessary updates and refinements. This included configuring essential plugins, optimizing SEO settings, and setting up an email SMTP connection using MailPoet services for seamless communication.

Additionally, I created a blog page that renders posts in an organized grid layout, improving content accessibility and user experience. I focused on making the site fully responsive across all devices to ensure a consistent user experience on desktops, tablets, and mobile phones. I also conducted a thorough cleanup to improve website speed, security, and overall performance. The project concluded with a smooth migration to a new web hosting platform, ensuring everything functioned perfectly post-migration. By applying these final touches and performing SEO work, I helped elevate the website to a more polished and professional standard.
